Opposing woman exemption from odd-even rule

To,
Shri Arvind Kejriwal,
Honorable Chief Minister of Delhi,
India

Subject: Opposing exemption of women from odd-even rule.

Respected Sir,
I am strongly opposing women exemption from odd-even rule. The way and facts you are using to exempt women from this rule are baseless. Please consider following points

  1. Asking from the person who is going to affect
You invited only women and women organizations to ask that they want exemption from this rule or not. This is senseless that government think that person who is going to have problem from this rule will support this rule. According to Ms Maliwal
"Out of 218 participants, 200 women wanted exemption for them. Cases of rape and eve-teasing have also been on the rise. There is first need to make women feel safe while travelling in public transport," Ms Maliwal said.

According to Ms Maliwal public transport is unsafe for women and every woman have vehicle for their safety. First thing public transport is fully safe and everyday thousands of women travel in public transport. Some wrong things may happen but both gender are victim of these things. Is government think that every woman will travel in their own vehicle after exemption. This excuse is just for giving special privileges to woman nothing else.

  2. Women will have to pick up their children from schools (Senseless reason to get exemption)
Men pick up their children from schools more then women so I think men should also get the exemption.

  3. Article 15 in The Constitution of India 1949
Constitution of india says that “The State shall not discriminate against any citizen on grounds only of religion, race, caste, sex, place of birth or any of them”.

Just because of a one gender’s comfort you are breaking your own nature saving concept. Being an Indian citizen I am strongly opposing the exemption of women from this law.

  3. Kejriwal Sir, you always tell that your party is here for a "Different type of Politics", but when it comes to giving privileges to Women, you are like all other political parties, who DONT CARE ABOUT MEN !!

I hope you understand, that when "privileges" are given to any one , "RIGHTS" of someone else gets suppressed ??

Can you STOP doing this "GENDER BIASIS"?????

  4. Kejrival ji I m a big fan of u n AAP bt we r educated we r saying we women's n men's r equal,bt in odd even giving privilege to women's is creating difference between men's n women's.... We should not think about gender we should think about humans... We should make rules for humans not for men's or women's
